Their training is done at Hallet, the same place Danny Eslick raced in the beginning. Oh yeah, these dudes race on a local circuit. Cant outrun them, and cant out corner them. You can try but cornering seems to be their job. Unless their on Mat Mladins heels....good luck!

Once a month or so people gather @ the local racetrack to race cops-I think it's to raise money-usually in their cars, on a Friday night. I would go if they were on bikes, just to get humbled.

I think I am going to show that to my Chief. Perhaps bribe him with a box of donuts too. I would love to be a bike cop. Bada$$!

I would love to be a bike cop, but not on a road glide...no thanks. I would love to just do patrol forever BUT if there was ever a sportbike unit, I would do whatever it took to join. "Sir, you know I had to do 177 to catch up to you....and it was BADASS!!!!!!, now turn around and put your hands on your head."

I live in Oklahoma and never seen any OHP on motorcycles because they are a special troop mainly in Oklahoma City, and the Busas they have are mainly used for shows & special events or escort , to show and inform the public about the OHP and traffic & motorcycle safety mostly.

tulsa & oklahoma city and some other cities have motorcycle cops.
and as of about a month ago the department of public safety which OHP is under has cut funding to OHP because of state budget short falls,(OHP gets money ONLY from state budget for slated to department of public safety for OHP, they dont get money from tickets, the counties get that money, they do this for many reason including so that it makes and lets OHP concentrate on traffic enforcement and traffic accidents along with their other law enforcement duties.), causing OHP to limit milage driven per day (unless emergencies),& possibly leading to cut man hours each month. in my opinion the OHP is some of the best & most Professional Law enforcement officers out there. oh they also have aircraft so you never know when your speed is being watched, thats what you need watch for if you decided to speed or something.

Troop MC: Motorcycles
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol re-introduced motorcycles in January 1999 after phasing them out in the early 1940's. Today the Patrol operates a fleet of Harley Davidson Road King police motorcycles. The primary mission of the motorcycle division is traffic enforcement. The motorcycles are assigned to the Oklahoma City metro area, working the high traffic corridors that run through the Oklahoma City area. In addition to traffic enforcement the unit also provides escorts for special events such as Presidential visits and special duties assigned by the Chief's office.
