I am looking for a few odds and ends parts for my tube frame projects, And no shortage of people parting them out, but the parts are not selling for much, and hard to sell, Been tracking a number of peoples auctions on feebay and some people are asking quiite a bit for stuff but they just arent selling, week after week no sales.
So,, im also tracking the sales of some decent looking tube frame bikes on Craigslist and Feebay and theres bargains out there. In the Portland Oregon and Seattle CL theres been some decent tube frame bikes for sale.
So its sad, but it would be cheaper for me to buy ANOTHER tube frame bike than it would be to buy many of the parts i need and then keep or sell the extra bits.
check out this one, NO BIDS!!!! none, nada, nyet,,

and check out this weeks current listings, another nice looking Tube framer on there for no bids as well..
I really dont want to see cool bikes being parted out. Despite the hype,, you really dont come out ahead parting them out. These bikes WILL go up in value, dont kill cool bikes for short term pervieved gains.

so long story short,, I need a good tube frame with a title, and some other odds and ends, anyone have any of that stuff at real world prices? Dont part out your bike, but if you have PARTS let me know.

Almost all the Buell parts on ebay are over priced. They are trying to sell used parts for more the new. A used O2 sensor for $25.00 when you can buy a new one for $15.00. It's going to fall apart soon and the parts and bikes will be worth even less. That's fine by me. I've got 3 bike's now to keep going, and I'm looking for another.

I just finished rebuilding a tuber that I bought as a basket case and have had it for sale for over 2 months and not 1 single call

so, so true

...this also goes for Tail bags, they sold for $69 new

check out pinwall cycles on ebay for parts, really cheaply priced Buell parts...google search will get you there, it's the first link that comes up

well to be fair, Bikes arent selling at all right now, wrong time of the year to be selling a bike, come spring people will be hot and bothered to buy a runner, Nows the time to be buying parts and projects and get those winter projects going. At least in areas with 4 seasons,, perhaps areas like Florida and California where the riding season is year round maybe bikes sell okay this time of year.

But yes,,,,,,,, parts deals are weird. I have some S3 body panels for sale and a seat, not even any bids, and the bids start at .99 cents, Ill have a few other parts for sale too, but why bother on feebay just to have them sit and accumulate fees and no sales? But I am seeing some really high prices on other parts, week after week the same parts not moving that if they were fairly priced i would buy them, I need Ducati parts too,,,,,,,,Thos fukkers are crazy, they charge insane prices for even the bolts and screws,,,

Vintage British stuff is weird, some of it is gold, hard to build a bike anymore as the parts will kill you. Im so confused [confused][confused][confused]
