when i put my jardine slip-on on the bike how do I reset the tps or what rpm do I keep it at for how long so the bike can learn the new exhaust? Is it really necessary to get a more high flow filter and if so will the k&n work? Thanks for the advice again people. I'm new to working on anything and I really appreciate the advice. Oh yeah and I ordered a service manual so I don't have to keep asking dumb questions.

tps reset is either done by dealer or if you have ecmspy, you can do it yourself.

learn in of ecm is riding in closed loop for about 10-15 minutes.
closed loop = steady speed, round 3000rpm and no hard acceleration or engine braking.

if you're not getting a race ecm or remapping your current one, do not, change anything to the airflow.
