Hey everyone.

Just wanted to keep you guys posted on the work Mike has been doing with TunerPro.

The required acquisition files have been posted on other forums, and the program is logging data for all DDFI systems. Pretty soon everything will be squared away for datalogging and EEPROM modification purposes. ECMSpy will no longer be required for this.

Read/write to the ECM will be available in a future update.

I'll work on a how-to after I move in a couple weeks.

the adx files are on my website now in the download page.

I will no longer post the zip files in forums. therefore to get the files you have to go to the site so I can track the download counts.

see xoptiinside.com for the free adx files.

I was able to go online with my ecm using TunerPro RT on my 09 xb12.

I did some logging, no information, just logging, and it seems to be recording. I exported the log to .csv to use in Megalog.

I only have one question, how do I get an msq file for my bike. Do you use ecmspy and save the maps?

I hand-built the .msq by editing a blank one with notepad.

It's basic XML, so it's not hard to do.

There is a bridge file somewhere out there that will build the .msq for you, but it's just as easy to edit it yourself.

you use a program called Bridge . a member here wrote it for us to have. I am waiting on the final release to share that as well.

bridge makes the msq.

if you look at the tunerpro it has a balanced history table. pick your cylinder. then set it to average. run the log file. (set playback speed to 400%) now look at these numbers compared to your map numbers and make corrections till its balanced aprox 2 ponts+-.

Note on this section is if you see a wild number very low or high in the middle of no where do not use it.

to run the csv you delete line 3 in that file and add in a name to the empty space above the number one in the A column. then re=save and run.

I just use the history graph avg tables myself. it seems to be doing an excellent job curving the map numbers as actual injector values needed per cylinder. if its not working and getting better the beauty is you can always burn back a stock data.

next note is if any table is not set to your rpms they are editable to fit your need in the edit table of the adx. the history table. columns for rpm rows for tps numbers then save. do this per map because everything is independent. once you leave the program you can save adx as the same file or rename it as a new name based on what you like or need.
yep end user adjustable. How sweet is that?

any how-to's out there yet on how to get this hooked up and running I have all the neccacary profarms and files [up]

I have the general grasp of tuning theory down now, but, I am not sure how to fetch my ecm with Tunerpro, I have the pretty blue connected dialog on the bottom of the window, I even have the dashboard working when I crank it up, but how do I "fetch" the maps with tunerpro

And a book on using tunerpro, you know the mechanics of the program itself, specific to Buells, would be worth several dollars to some one that could put all this computer jargon into simple terms, hint hint

Click the down arrows once it is connected. You will see it at the top of the window in the toolbar.
