tuning questions

I have a PVC and Autotune on mine, same year as well. It was tuned once and we set the af ratios in the Autotune so that as the environment or riding style changes,, the tune adjusts with it. Yeah it's a little more money, but it requires very little effort IMO compared to some of the alternatives. The programming on it is so user friendly that I showed my wife how it all works in less tha 10 minutes and it's never given me a single problem. Not to mention simply downloading another map from someone else's tune is not the same as having your bike tuned. No two bikes are the same tune nor will they always make the same power running the same tune.

What is a pvc? And what auto time are you using?

I meant PCV, Power Commander 5, my bad lol. As far as a link just go to powercommander.com and it's the same autotune listed there as well. I just found it easier than searching forums and linking over the net for someone to tune vs pluggin it it, going to a real dyno and letting a tech at the dealership who is trained to tune with PCV's set it up for me. After that the autotune keeps the tune right where you want it!

There site says the only one they have is for the 09? It looks easy but damn I'm going to have to go donate plasma or something if i get that thing 380 for the unit and another 280 for the auto tune unit

Yeah it's compatible with the 08, I called before buying mine and made sure.

So the guy at the Harley shop is updating the firmware now he said the latest update starts with a w not bue2d [confused]

here its the print out of what they did the bike is like a new bike i didn't think it was that bad but its stop much smoother now. Just hooked it to my computer and it reads i now have BUE2D242 is this correct?
