Turn Signal Wiring.

So I have a black and a blue wire coming from my buell for turn signal. My new flush mount signal has black/black with white stripe/ and red. Does the black with white stripe go to my blue wire from buell? Is the black with white a running light? Im confused.

Sorry imma total squid when it comes to wiring...

the black coming from the bike is the ground and the blue is the 12v. Red on the turn signal is your 12v and the black most likely is your ground. my guess would be the black/white is a running light.

Ok lame, I would have to drill holes in my fairing to get these signals to work... I found a factory stock left from signal on ebay for $12. I went and looked at mine and it seems as if I could just turn it over and use it on the right side...Amiright?!

That would be correct Thaloc. I took mine off and forgot which was which. I looked at them and they are both the same. They will work fine. Good luck!

Argh! Wish U woulda said something earlier, I already got the one off ebay for $15 I woulda rather paid someone from the board.

sorry about that I just removed my stockies last week for the clear cat eyes from asb. the day that I got them I tinted them at my body shop because I didnt like the clear look.
