turning and scg into sx height questions

I just did complete swap of my suspension about a month ago. I happened to get lucky and when my bike got knocked over by a delivery truck i Got a 5k please don't sue us check. Haha anyhow I swapped my 09 scg suspension for the 09 12r suspension the12r shocks are the same size and height as the s and sx models with a bit firmer valving. I have had nothing but luck withthis setup. Not only is the bike a bit taller the added travel allowsthe suspension to reallyreally work in the turns and exudes so much more stability as apposed to the shorter strokeshockswhere I was always waiting for the next bumptothrow me off line or smash my nts on the airboxcover. You need the shocks f/r lower triple tree and the longer kick stand. Other wise it's very very straight forward took maybe 4 hours total. If you have any questions feel free to ask

wow, thank you very much buelligan. that is exactly what I needed to know with the added information of the 12r forks/shocks and kickstand I forgot about.. if I go thru with this, I will do the same as you. probably aftermarket triple, 12r fork/shocks, 12r kickstand, and 9sx seat.

Ya I got a bunch but can't load them from my I phone si ce I'm out in the desert on training. If you want to post them for me shoot meyour email and I'll pass them along for you to post. [email protected]. Ps I also did the crossroads bars an ls billet footpegs at the same time. Wow what a huge difference. My bike was sharp beforenow it's a razor. Just the new riding position alone makes the bike a pleasure to rideaggressivly. I can't sayenough about these mods. Next stop exhaust and brakes. Oh I also built some f/rsliders that work very well for under25$ a set.
