Uly LED tail light, integrated or just brighter???

Hello all, this is Robert from XB Lights...

So i've finally pulled the ole Uly light out from under the dust and I think I might try to get that project going again.

But, is there any interest in a brighter version or a Uly light with integrated signals?

It would have to use the same red lens as stock since my lens molder went out.

I have one clear lens (only one in existance??)
But I'm hanging on to that one for now.

So....any interest? Price would be roughly $275-300.
But really depends on the work ahead. Seeing how I've started this project so many times to jump ship for a while due to the complexity, I'm not sure how or if it will work out.

No kit necessary, just $10 for 2 SMD5050 strips on ebay!

My next comments come from a current XBLights/com owner, and I think it is hands down the best mod on my Lightning!

As far as the tail light goes...I have to admit that the Uly light is pretty good as is. In conjunction with the 2010 1125 LED turns, I have no need for more light. IMO, integrated on the Uly is silly and doesn't look right...it's too utilitarian of a bike.

Far and away the biggest problem with the Uly lighting is that the taillight gets buried when the topcase is on (hence the lights added to the top case). A creative way to address this would be great. Some thinking to do for sure!

Thanks for the tip Andymnelson but i would still buy a pre wired kit that just left me to drill 2 holes and route some wires that hooked up to the tail light.

hey Robert, I am very interested in an integrated taillight setup for my uly, smoked if possible. Are you still thinking about working on this idea? Please PM me with any info if you can..

Installed into tail bag. Was not that bad. 20 bucks into making this. I have mine set up to light with tail lamps and brighten with brakes. Lights up like X-mas
