My bike is my only ride. I currently have a Firebolt that I love, but being my only vehicle... yeah.

I was curious if anyone here has both, or has good experience with both. And if so, which do you prefer and why?

Is there much performance difference between the two on the street? Does the Uly perform on dirt roads or fire roads decently?

They both have great character as far as appearance, but serve different roles. Aesthetically I prefer a bit more unrefined, more utilitarian badassery.

I do prefer a bit more versatility as far as roles go - street, dirt, distance, capacity.

I currently have a tank bag and tail bag that carry a decent amount, about as much as I'd need to carry for a weekend. But a Uly seems like it'd fit the "single vehicle" ticket a bit better.

My Bolt is paid off, so if I got a Uly I'd want to sell the Bolt. I prefer not to have a payment so only one vehicle is an option at this point.

What say you Buellers?

PS Please forgive typos or incomprehensible statements/questions, Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout has served me well this evening :)

For an only vehicle a Uly would be the way to go for sure. Some hard bags would be ideal, it can ride well on service and fire roads, not BMW like but still a nice close to dual purpose bike.

There are two in my area right now with Buell hard luggage, very tempting. Thanks for the input!
