ulysses windshield question-can't find the part

hey guys: just bought a 2007 uly and a great bike. flyscreen and factory windscreen all stock. i've been seeing some pics of ulys with what looks like optional clear plastic lip that is bolted to top of factory windscreen. looks like a clear plastic spoiler type of thing. what is it, does it work, and where can i buy one? i'm looking for a bit more wind protection for myself on the bike. thanks much

I believe it is a "laminar lip". Google it.

If you get one let me know how it does. I looked at getting one right after I got my uly. I am tring to save money and get handle bar risers first, but I'm still curious about the windsheild extension. Interstate rides really move your head around when a semi is around, wonder if the lip would help.

i'll let you know. ordered one last nite and was about $15 less than a factory 4 inch taller windshield and you can always transfer the lip to another bike if the windshield matches up fairly closely. the few guys i talked to that tried them said they were wonderful.

bbletterin: got it friday, installed and let the adhesive discs that are used for attachment cure for a few hours. easiest install in the world. took uly for a 25 mile ride and noticeable improvement in wind protection, quietness, and helmet buffeting. in all honesty i was looking for a bit more upper chest wind protection and a bit of noise reduction and for the $97 delivered price, i think the lip works better than the 4 inch higher factory replacement wind screen. very happy with it and was packaged well and shipped quickly by laminar products.

Glad to hear it worked out. I have a Uly,XT so I allready have the taller wind screen. I am tring to get my handlebar risers first before the lip. Thanks for the info as one is still in my plans. The weather here went from 78 deg. thursday to 34 deg. sat. & today. won't be riding any time soon. Thanks again.
