So I get home from work this morning just got the bike put back together after fresh paint. There was no storm or wind in my AO last night and my bike is laying on the right side!!!!! WTF so I look at it paint not scuffed real bad, brake lever bent to hell and passenger right foot peg broken off. Not to horribly bad, could have been worse then I start thinking and looking at it, some DUMB F@#K thought it would be "cool" to sit on someone elses bike and wasn't man enough to handle the weight when it shifted. You can see knee and elbow indents in the grass next to the parking lot where they bailed after it started tipping. I HATE apartments.

On a lighter note I have seen a few new Buells in the De Kalb IL area. Anyone on here let me know.

Just venting thanks for reading

Man, that sucks dude. I have an Electra Glide that's been knocked over twice at bars from drunk F'ers doing the samething.
If it aint yours... DON'T TOUCH!!!

I have an "alarm" of sorts (12 gauge pistol grip home defender)[mad]. A real alarm would be nice since I work night shift and it sometimes sits there all alone:(. can you point me in a good direction for that thanks alot for the advise

Garage kept, I'm lucky enough to have a dinky ass little garage with no lights or electrical outlets. But at least it keeps my bike safe.

I nipped that problem in the bud. I got a cement forming board, dropped it in my dining room and thats where my bikes sits when im not riding it. And if someone sits on it good ol' Springfield XD40 will have a few choice "words" for them.

Ahh man that's horrible. Well I have a SHARED garage of 14 other tenants, so I use a kryptonite rotor lock for the rear tire, and a "Fahgettabout it" kryptonite lock(that's actually the name of the lock lol) that's locks down the front tire to a pole.

Not much, but hey it keeps people from getting if off of the pole to sit on it or just lifting it up to steal it without giving them a real pain in the @$$ of a time. And I park my car directly in front of the bike to further block it in.

I figured if someone wanted to go thru all that extra effort just for my bike, than they deserve it and Geico will just cover me with all the money I pay for Full Coverage Insurance ($67) every month.

And lastly my Smith & Wesson 40 cal. Glock 23 series will definitely scare them away if I were UNLUCKY to awaken to that disturbance in the middle of the night [mad]. No I'm kidding, I'd just let Geico get me that new 1125R :D

Too funny if your not the guy that owns the bike! tottaly sucks for you.

One night at a party a few friends showd up on bikes to see what's up. We were not riding due to the booze. After a while they were all ready to go for the midnight ride. we gathered outside to send them off and see how much they could piss the neighbors off. My brother decided to sit on my buddies bike, he was hella drunk. Needless to say the bike was running and my bro hit the shifter out of neutrel on accident and off he went. He fell off the bike and the bike went into a wall. So f-d up!

My brother paid for all expences though and my buddie was hella cool about it. he took partial blame for letting my bro on the bike, he did ask.

I hate aparments too, mainly due to the scum floating in the jacuzi.

There's hundreds of options, but I liked the looks of this alarm; Protects the perimeter of the bike, keyfobs, dual axis shock, dual axis tip sensor, etc.

Drunkin,
That sucks, I have had mine messed with also. It was keyed by some jealous f--k, because I parked in the landscaping at a popular restaurant.
Anyway, I put a Scorpio alarm on after that and the attempted theft, just before that.

here is the link
Scorpio Alarms
I have had real good luck with my unit, also I believe they provide the Harley OEM alarms too.

Yeah, that sucks. Ive had people sit on my bike out in the employee parking lot at work. Not cool

Idiot: Hey man, NICE bike, I sat on it and everything

Me: You did WHAT?!?!?

Where do people get the idea that its ok to sit on someone else's property...

this guy i know just got his fatboy stolen in a private garage downtown at his condo had his car parked infront of it too and locked.

i had that happen to an old bike of mine at a restaurant. i caught them doing it thru the window. watched it go over when i went outside i confronted them and they were like we didn't do it. they paid for the repairs.

It's truely amazing how people feel it's appropriate to sit on someone's bike. I don't go open up the car doors of Corvettes and take a squat to just check it out.

LOL yeah that sucks but after I crashed my bike was sitting in the down stairs garage and someone must have been looking at the damage and sat their $300 sun glasses on the speedo. Losers.... Nice glasses but, I still have them [cool]

Fock, it happens. But like I said, Geico will take care of me, and out with the old and in with the new. I recommend FULL COVERAGE insurance and an alarm while you're at it ;)

It is really amazing how many people think it is cool to walk up and sit on someone else's bike. [mad]

Yeah, I'm with ophawk. Scorpio all the way! I had my enduro stolen even when it was locked up. Serously guys, invest in a good alarm. It helps me sleep at night:)
