Hey guys I've recently come across a lot of spare time and I'm looking to spend it doing what I love...tearing apart my bike! I was just wondering what kind of cool **** have you been doing to yours besides all the main mods (airbox delete, breather re-route). Also any good websites with cool aftermarket parts? I've been through ASB too many times to count and I think I have everything I want from them that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Thanks for your input

I know it's not much but I polished my headers and I think it makes the bike look 100xs better than the dull finish. IMO

Knight Designs has some different items for the Buell, not a whole lot but some subtle changes. Street Fighters Inc has some good ferrings and such just depends on what your wanting? I am doing the Bolt to Lightning tail swap right now personally! Then gonna fix my HID's, Cut the front ferring down and start blacking everything out I can!!!!!

Zeroflat any pics of those headers? Sounds pretty sweet. Mine are wrapped so not looking to polish the headers but maybe the race exhaust, swingarm, or frame if I could find a good how-to. How hard was it to do the headers?? Thanks for the other input I'll be checking out those sites for sure

5-0dro you have any plans for any other parts? I will definitely be getting your axle sliders but not until I put on my new swingarm

Polishing the headers is simple, green scotch pads, wd40, elbow grease. Then you can clean them off and use Mother's Polish to make them really gleam.

Or just do what I did, get the Silver Ceramic coated ones from ASB. They look awesome, but cost a lil bit.

Great...Thanks! I'll be here when you're ready! No definite plans right now. If you have any ideas, please PM them to me! Ideas are always welcomed and appreciated![up]

another good mod that I have been wanting to do is frame grips, they look cool and then you wont burn your knees on those 90 degree plus days.

why is ur engine backwards ur belt is the left side??? and headers on left side???

I'm almost done with my swing arm. I need a chain yet. I'm thinking of moving all my electronics under the air box and make my own tail; but I don't know if I'll have enough time before spring comes.
