Unknown plug

Hello all. Im new to this forum. just picked up a buell 1125r this summer and while cleaning it this past week i noticed a cable plug hanging down that i hadn't noticed before. Its located right between the two seats and hangs down to the passenger support brace for the foot peg (the thing that makes a slightly curved looking V). The plug itself looks like the connection to my battery tender. I have a Battery Tender Junior 12V. Ive checked online and the service manuel trying to find this thing but have been unable to. From a few drawings in the manuel it looks kinda like the data link but the location doesnt seem correct. I was hoping someone here might know. Thanks

2 pole plug is for a battery charger i have the same thing on the xb it should gave a cap on it also

So your battery only looks to have the one connector added to it for a tender. You said " The plug itself looks like the connection to my battery tender. I have a Battery Tender Junior 12V". Is there another plug like that one too?

Added another photo. This is one i found online but it seems to be the exact same thing as mine. So Im guessing it is a battery tender connection.

If that is the only one coming off the battery then yes that is for your tender.
