Hey guys,I am having some problems with my 2003 xb9r. It has race ecm, exhaust and K&N and about 5500 miles on it. The problem is i am loosing low end power and loud backfire in airbox when down shifting exhust backfires when i let off the throttle. I just put in new spark plugs and changed all the oil and it didnt help. It seems it might be running too rich but i thought the ecm would fix it on its own. I was wondering if maybe i had to get it remapped or something... any ideas?

How long has it been acting like that? Did it start after you added one of the aftermarket items you mentioned or has it done it the whole time you've owned the bike?

buell race muffler or other aftermarket exhaust?

either your exhaust packing is gone or you need a reset.

buell race muffler these parts have been on since i owned it i got it mid summer and put abot 1800 miles on it, it just started about two weeks ago.

You check the muffler packing as LeFox suggested? He knows his stuff.
if it's a buell race, no need to check...;)

would check the ecm reset.
that doesn't work, could be that your battery is near to it's end, among other things

im gonna have a guy check my ecm for me while im out of town, if that dosent work then i dunno what to do, thanks for the help guys.
