alright here is the subframe with the retarded cali can on it. lets just say a hammer and a punch made that disappear quickly

alright so now its time to mount the subframe to this

okay i got the battery mounted and set im place, im thinking im going to have to leave my shock tube there its pretty sturdy . . . only modifications i have done so far was take the fuse box off of the bracket and zip tie it to the sub frame . . . cheesy i know but effective

alright so i notice that the brake res. is just dangling about not screw hole to bolt it into . . . so mod number 2 . . make a bracket . . okay seems easy here it is

thinking this is way to easy well its not after i made the bracket i decided to put the plastics on and see how everything was fitting so far . . breather re-route completely in the way . . . i had to shove the filter in even closer to the rear shock to get it to fit. . . that problem fixed . . . on the other side remember that bracket i made . . . definitely right in the way so i had to twist and contort that thing till it fit just right but that was fixed

alright so after all that was fixed i threw the plastics on there again and looks beautiful

so far i think i have gotten everything to fit in the tiny compartment with the battery expect the tip sensor which i mounted in the cargo area but it takes hardly any room

so far its going great i should finish tonight

Looks like a ton of fun. I some very creative fixes for those little challenges that pop up. You're doing good.

yea its a straight shot from here all i have to do is extend the wires for the blinkers and brake light then change the oil and fire her up and see if it throws any codes for something i didnt hook up right =P lol

hey climber,we like to breath clean air here in cali, but ya,the can sucked.got my shit all hooked up and running, glad we did this.

Just something you may want to consider that I learned from my swap. Where you have the fusebox, it is completely inaccessible without taking the seat, and bodywork off. If you end up blowing a fuse on the road this could be a pain in the ass.
Just a heads up. I am looking into moving mine next to the battery.
Looks great though, you had it a lot easier then me!

@ Climber and Rhyno- Which model R and S did you swap between? is a 9R tail different from a 12R Tail? I'm heavily leaning toward putting an s tail on my 12R. Email @ [email protected]
