09 1125cr stock

Hey.. the production date on my bike is august 08. Could it be possible that it has the "old" injectors from 07/08 r`model? From brand new and bone stock, its been running poorly... Just as all the journalists reviewed the 1125r when it first came out, so I was just wondering???

Not for sure but thought what ever problems that the 08 R had Mr.Buell tried to fix on the 09 and 10.[smirk]

CR's should have the new style injectors. Take one out and look at it. Old style were just flat across the face, new style is "tented" up a little bit and it changes the angle of spray for fuel.

Also, upgrading to the race ecm makes a world of difference in the way it runs.

do u have the ECU SW update... Rotax had problems with the early ECM SW, at least in Europe and with the SW update the problem was solved

I have the ebr ecm, programmed for stock pipe and stock filter. It made no change to how my bike runs- Thats what got me wondering in the first place.. Especially after reading about the good affects it has had on others bikes.
I will pull one out and check as soon as I can- Is it difficult??..:)

I had the latest flash on the oem ecm, if that is what you mean by "ECU SW update"??

Thanks guys..

Not sure why you didn't see an improvement, mine was a huge gain (15+ hp and 10+ ft/lbs of torque) over what I had stock. Low end response was awesome as well, it went from being a pain to ride under 4k rpm to relatively smooth at 2500 rpm in 6th gear. I can get all the way down to about 2100 rpm in 6th, but it does take a bit to roll out of it and continue on. If you're wondering, that's about 35 mph in 6th. I need to get a video of it at that speed and gear sometime.

Btw, mine isn't a stock exhaust.

Finally did it. Got some video of mine running in 6th gear, sub-2500 rpm.

Watch them in full screen, both were done with a GoPro 1080 so they're both pretty clear. Didn't get the gear indicator in the frame, but you can hear me shifting through the gears well enough. It's also offset to the side enough that it looks like I only went down to about 2200 rpm, I actually went to 2000 a couple of times.
