Sorry Bud, I checked. I don't have one for a 2001 X1.
I really don't think there were many differences between the 2001 and 2002. You may want to ask the forum and see if someone here knows.

'03 9R shop manual arrived today.

It was just as you described it, lightly used.

To those of you who are hesitating, the manual is 8.5" x 11" x 1.25". The pictures are crisper than my home or work printer can print.

The manual weighs a ton which, btw, I notice you got hit way harder on the shipping than you charged me.

I will paypal $10 towards that.

Anything newer than 2002 has been sold.

Are the parts catalogs (i'd be looking for an 06 bolt) just for body parts and accessories or are they the parts catalogs that give you that internal parts numbers and diagrams for things like fasteners, cables, etc. like the dealers get.
Maybe if I went into the local hd dealer with a diagram or at least a page number, and part number, the parts guy wouldn't disappear into the stockroom when he saw me coming and try to wait me out. Trying to get parts out of the guys is like pulling teeth.
