I dont, but you would def want to get the ecm from ebr or do a custom tune. Otherwise your gonna be runnin super lean.
 
i got a ecm buell said shuld work and it ran choppy when crusing and i adjusted the timing to compensate for the loss in back presure and it helped a little better but it still feels like its missing or coughing during crusing
 
Boy i dont think the airbox mods gonna solve your problem. What plugs are you running thats sounds alot like how mine ran with ngk dcpr8es in i switched to dcpr9eix and the stumble went away. Could be a different cinario though? If im not mistaken isnt that a lean simptom and the air box would only worsen that i think?
 
i have the iridiom plugs.... it seems it just chops when crusing or right when i start to accell fast but when i get going good and im just gunning it it runs great
 
did you only change timing? if you didn't change the fuel maps along with it I could see the issue staying.

8? or 9? Mine ran like shit with 8's poped,stalled sputtered on idle bogged rolling into throttle decel popped. 9's cured everything i still have a slight decel pop but with a d&d its prolly normal. Good luck
 
the only way a spark plug heat range effects how your engine runs is based on the tune of the engine.example: If the tune is lean or ignition too advanced,a hotter plug can cause preignition.If the tune is rich or the ignition slightly retarded,the colder plug can load up faster and cause misfireing or complete fouling.If neither of those conditions exist,the difference between an 8 or 9 should not effect running at all.So if there is a difference,the spark plug can set you in the right direction,but its not the cause,or a real cure.
 
so i cant use ecmspy to tune or tps my bike after race ecm... what shoulkd i do then because the harly around me is worthless they couldent finde the gas tank on my brothers firebolt
 
is there a way to make the ecmspy work for this how can i tune this thing corectly.. is there anyone i can send my masmaps to that could tune it for me and help walk me through this
 
I beleive you can send your ecm to ebr and they can reflash it for your bike but i beleive you would then need to do a tps reset wich unless you have a 2008 or newer you need a spy cable .Ebr
 
i have tha cable i can plug the bike into the computer and.the ecm i have in the bike is from ebr i told them what i had on the bike aand they sent me the ecm but the bike still ran crappy
 
Id call ebr , explain what the bike is doimd they can probly figure it out for you . There prolly gonna have you send it back to be reflashed
 
the post from noone 1569 about not using ecmspy for new ecm's what is new ecm's like just the race ones??? am i able to use the stock ecm and adjust the maps on the stock ecm to the maps on the race one and do the tps reset what do you guys think
 
Depends on the ecm you bought the $300 is non programable the adjustable ecm is over $500 i think but i have no idea what a ecm spy cable will alow you to do with the cheaper ecm. Id call and see what they say
 
I read a really old post where a guy ran a 10 gauge wire from the coil ground directly to the neg battery post and it cleared up his stumble. I think it was in the troubleshooting section. Dunno if it works but wouldnt cost much to try.
