Keep loosing bottom mount bolt from vance and hines

muffler during driving

You need to use some threadlock on the bolts.

I had the same problem with my Vance and Hines. Not a well designed mount to start with to handle the shakes and rattle a Buell makes. I had to fabricate a wrap around strap to fit around muffler housing to make it work. I eventually had to rid myself of the V and H exhaust, even the front mount warbled out.

... loctite Red then a thin coating of silicone around where the head meets the surface once tight... Just don't plan on taking it off without a fair amount of grunting

thanks everyone for the help. i ended up using a locknut for each two bolts putting it between the bottom mount and muffler itself. day 2..still there so far
