vance and hines exhaust/headers for a 97 s1 - compatibility?

with my 2003 xb9s... does anyone have a clue?

my buddy is trying to basically give me this old set up he has but i have a feeling it won't fit.

every exhaust can be modified to fit any motorcycle...but is it worth it?

honestly sir, i don't know.. i don't know much about motorcycles as i've only owned/playedwith one for about 2.5 months... i don't the time and complications involved with modifying it vs the cost of a proper one.. i guess at a couple hundred bucks a new one would be a simpler more direct way to solve the problem..

the v&h is built for the tuber.

i don't know what the performance would be or what modifications would be needed.

my guess is that using stock headers would be the easy solution.

ask your buddy if you can try...if you are satisfied with the result, keep it.
