Eh, There!

My name is Stella. I am posting here today due to my husband passing and leaving behind all of his precious Buell Parts. I know he would have wanted them to go to a good home, so my son helped me find this site to post the parts for sale. Maybe some of ya'll may enjoy them. Pardon me if I don't mention the parts correctly. I am hoping this will help pay all his medical expenses that are now due.

Here's what we have gathered he has got all from a 2009 Model Buell. I believe a Firebolt? I was told that most of these parts can be inner changed with various and models and such. He had two motorbikes one was a Lightning I think and the other was the 1200cc firebolt.

If ya would like a part please send us a message and we can figure out the payment. My son is helping me package all of this and we live 5 minutes from the UPS store. We are located in Oregon.

Fuel in frame set up
Swing arm that has the oil tank inside of it
Handlebars
Black Forks with triple tree set up in excellent shape I believe
Seats both front and rear for the firebolt and one big seat from which we gather is from a lighting
a 1200cc engine that says thunderstorm on the side odometer reading 9,000 miles which my son and a few friends have removed and drained of the fluids. We can place on a pallet if needed.
Black Wheels with ok tires
Blue windshield from a lightning
Lightning Headlights with Headlight Grill
Brakes with all cables and the lever which read ztl2 on the side if that means anything
Rear taillight still new in the box
Lightning Instrument Cluster with 9,000 Miles on the Odometer
Battery
Turn Signals
Mirrors
Oil Cooler ( the black box on the left side of the motor )
Plastics for the belt and scoops
Fairly new belt I think I am not sure, we can send photographs if needed.
Buell Exhaust with headers
Throttle body

I think thats it but there are probably a few things I am missing. Everything is Disassembled thanks to people donating there time. This is the list of parts we came up with so far. Send us a message and we can get your email to send pictures. I will check this periodically. Hoping ya'll won't take advantage of me. We really need to pay these bills.

God Bless!

Apparently we misjudged this forum, and the maturity level of its community. If anyone serious would like to come take a look at it that is great. Not going to take any level of disrespect.

Since this forum apparently seems to be a place of immature and disrespectful adults that want to disrespect a 55 year old woman, I will find another outlet to sell the parts, I am not in any dyer straits to have my situation made a joke of. Please disregard this ad.

maturity level isn't the question here...

we've seen postings like this before and people have been scammed, so naturally that is the reaction you will get. have your son post pictures of what you have to validate.

Wait, I was serious... If it's there in person, I'll buy it. No need to part out a perfectly good bike!

I have someone in the area, just let me know!

As I stated in my first posting if you message me on the forum of something you would like I will take photographs for you and send them through email. I have no problem selling them on eBay. I do not need any of your money, I was trying to help the community of riders that apparently treasure this brand of motorcycle. I will be posting things on eBay soon you may all bid on them there.

Mr UMD,

I replied to your private message, we may schedule a viewing in the next few weeks when my son is off.

Thank you

This forum isn't a place a place of immature and disrespectful adults, THE INTERNET IS!

That being said, if you are honest then you unfortunately have the same type of story that many confirmed scams.

That also being said I'm convinced that my first instinct was correct and this is a scam. Prove me wrong by posting a picture of the parts with today's newspaper. 😀

we are a pretty tight group willing to help on another out...on the same note, we look out for each other as well no matter if that person is stateside or abroad...your story is now known on facebook Buellxb page and that also has nationwide and international following. I also have contacts on Badweb who would share the story as well, and this is not a threat by any means...it's a fact!

You go ahead and do whatever you'd like I no longer am interested in selling any parts in here. Please look for them on eBay. You all have a great day. Seems as though this is more trouble then it's worth. Thank you.

A typical add simply goes as follows...post pictures of said parts, and put together a price list. 9 times out of 10 a scam post starts off with a sob story to grab our emotions...here in the BUELL community we are a tight knit family that watches out for one another all over the country. When a bike gets stolen...we keep an eye out. When someone wrecks...we help put them back together. When someone scams...we try to confirm the validity of the post. We usually want people to build a reputation on the forum before we trust people selling parts...it's simple as that.

Thrstrmerch,

You by far amaze me the most. I posted an ad for things for sale. At no point in my ad did I mention any form of payment. I also offered a point of contact and willingness to display and provide pictures through email. Your ignorance is astonishing. At no point in my ad did I say pay me here now! I posted things for sale is it at your disgression whether you would like to purchase things or not. You seem on the defensive for no apparent reason. Neither did I ever disengage myself from contact. So please leave your ignorance somewhere else. Go disrespect someone else and their family.

What's your eBay name...if you're legit, you won't mind divulging information. Name, PayPal email, phone number, etc.
