Vented Airbox Cover

Anyone have the carbon fiber CIA airbox from American Sport Bike, or better yet have some good pictures of it?

I bought the MDI cover off Ebay, sucked in for the price, and like the look of the intakes and all. I also searched the forums, but checked the feedback on Ebay, and even sent some messages to people who bought Buell parts. It came in and was about what I expected from the forum and all I've read.

The fittmen wasn't great, and the bolt holes were a little off. All of that I could deal with, but the front part of the loop around the fuel intake was oblong and too large. The steering would definately hit the extended portion and break it off.

So, I've sent the message and packed it up to send back. Now looking more at ASB, but the picture on the web site stinks.

I can make you a custom air box out of your stock. Whatever you want.

I may take you up on that, give me a little time to figure out my next plan.

The light is bad on the pictures, dark in the garage today. There are no scuffs on the box, it's the light. The biggest problem is the gap to the front of the fuel cap. The steering would absolutely smash that section.

I like the design. I'm trying to figure out if the ASB cover has the scoop style vents, of just holes down low.
