Couldn't resist at the price, I just bought another Buell... is there a way to lower the seat height?

It is the 2006 XB12S model.

Take a torch to the rear spring and when it drops to the right height, throw some real cold water on it... done in five minutes my friend haha jk those bikes are low to begin with, maybe take some foam outa the seat.

Cut 2 inches with the torch of the front fork springs and mod the rear shock. And the foam from seat as Pain said. top shock.jpg shockdrill4.jpg

You guys are terrible! Lol.

Look for Scg stuff to lower the suspension 2" (forks, rear shock, and kickstand), You can buy a lower seat, if you don't feel like taking your to an upholstery shop to take some foam out. It's easy though to do it yourself.

Doesn't the shock and fork preload adjust ride height as well?

NOT unladen static height......but to a small degree "sack" or "sag" when rider mounts bike.

I bought a new low seat for $200 and a mizu unit for the rear shock. lowered my s model about 3 inchs. Easy to change back as well.

30.5" seat height ain't 'low to begin with'... not enough foam there to make that work... and the torch idea? maybe if I just wanted to park it where I can see it but not ride it.
