Just read this article over on RRW.. it's probably the best article I've seen about this most depressing turn of events last month. Because of the copy-write info on the article I don't think I should paste the article itself here... but here's the link to it on their site..
I do have one complaint though... I absolutely hate when people throw words in there that most (sane) people need a dictionary to understand. "mercurial" "curriculum vitae" "irascible" "sycophants" It just SCREAMS "Look at me! I have a 'word of the day' calendar at my desk.
our country has turned into a "Whack a Mole" arcade game
I wouldn't say that those are words that "most (sane) people need a dictionary to understand". I think that most anyone who does any sort of editorial reading on the regular has run into those words frequently.
If you've ever had to write a resume then you should also know what a CV is. They're damn near the same thing.
I don't agree with everything he says. As far as I'm concerned, Reg Kittrelle is just a Harley ridin' ***. It's good that he ended his essay on a positive note, but the whole thing was like saying "you're ugly, but it looks good on you"
This is a great article on the state of the american motorcycle industry. I agree with just about everything said in this article. Michael Czysz made just about the best attempt thus far at making a real american superbike. Unfortunately timing shattered a good portion of it.
