Vibrations ?

I just bought my best mates Buell 03 xb9r and when on idel there is a strong vibration through the bars to the point you can see the skin on your arms vibrating with in and last night while i was riding i could feel the vibration at lower speeds through my boots from the pegs i changes the front isolater last week thinking that would be the problem but seems to have done nothing the rear isolator looks in good condition just cant seem to pin point whats causing it and my mate said never used to be like that when he rode it only noticed few months ago any help on the matter would be great thank you....

possibly the engine mounts are loose...[confused]

I was thinking the same thing. Check your engine mounts. Had a buddies vibrate real bad and it was a loose mount.

mate thats a Buell . I sublet mine to home renovators to mix paint. Kinda reminds me about a dental appointment next week

we all know our Buells can easily walk away when sitting there idling due to vibrations, hope your problem is no more serious then that.

Thanks Guys turns out the rear mount has a crack in it... And maybe if your letting out your Buell to contractors you should check your mounts to buddy before it ends up doing serious damage Thanks again for your help [up]

all right!! shot in the dark and bulleye! man i should get paid to think out loud, but not too much cuz then i'd have to claim on it with a 10-99 so i'd lose.
