How do you install these? Waiting on mine in the mail and just curious so I can get it installed as soon as it arrives.

on a uly you can plug it directly into the power outlet port on the dash area. for other models you simply snip off the outlet plug about 7 inches above plug. you will see light colored + marking in white ink on the positive wire. strip the end of same and end of other wire which is - wire. remove flyscreen and find any switched + wire under flyscreen. i use the headlight feed wire but any will work that are activated by ignition key which is called "switched." put round eyelet on remaining wire and connect to any grounded surface under flyscreen or find any of the grounded wires under same and connect. instruction sheet also included with the gauge. hope that helps.

Unless you just don't want to toggle to it, the 1125's have a voltage meter on the IC already.

True, but this one seems a heck of a lot easier to glance at on the fly. And if the 1125 display is anything like the one on my Aprilia (same motor make, electronics, and stator issues... Lol), then it is notoriously inaccurate... Just my .02.

it's actually slightly addictive to watch "on the fly". LOL #'s not very legible when sun-blasted but other than that kind of cool to watch it as you ride.

Heck yeah it is. I am also a radio operator and have 12vdc power supplies in the house.
When I got mine I plugged it in and sat and stared at it for a few hours while watching "three's company" reruns.
I still like Mr Roper better than Mr Farley but I think Don Knotts could have saved the World.

BUMP BUMP for a great little volt meter sold by a wonderfully nice gentleman.

Thanks to you John :)

just so you guys know the IC/ACC power is cut when the ECM reads voltage at 10.0VDC, but the headlights will stay energized until the bitter end.
not that it matters what switched power you tap it in to, cuz with this little thing plugged in, you should notice voltage dropping before it gets to 10, but ....
