IMO a stock muffler is worth about $30 plus shipping. The only reason anyone would want it is to mod it.

Most would just mod their own, you might find someone who needs one for some reason otherwise most have them just laying around the garage too.

I know there is someone out there who will buy it. I just started the price high to see what people offer. Someone may have a pipe they don't like or that's damaged and want one that's in good condition to mod.

Gutted 9 pipes are something like 7-8 lbs lighter than a stock 12 pipe. Gutted 12 pipes only shave off 3 lbs I think. I have a 9 pipe on my bike.
