One warning on the Sheridan Ride. While it does have some nice twisties be careful on your speed as many are blind turns and also in Ravines which depending on the month means standing water with leaves and or seeds. Still a lot of fun just be careful. Also take into consideration you are riding through the richest neighborhoods in the Chicagoland area so the cops will ticket you.

yeah i agree i saw a lot of families out enjoying the weather, im all for fudging the speed limit but not through residential neighborhoods. i don't like it when people speed by my house when my son is out playing so i try to give my respect to others. although i bet the college campus is a real nice view when classes are in

+1 on the Northwestern and Loyola campus. When its warm out and classes are in session its hard to stay on the road at night

ok thank for the lake Geneva tip. hit that up today what a beautiful ride. some nice twists on lake shore drive. also found snake road and it lived up to its name some nice turns on that road as well because of the tree cover it was a little damp and some gravel on that road so i took it easy but after couple of trips its a nice road. got lost on the way back. who knew that WI 120 and IL 120 were 2 completely different roads hmm. but i got to see fox lake and grey lake too so it worked out
