Anyone have a dull or worn area on the frame from leathers or riding pants? Mine has developed a shiny, warn area on the frame at the knee/thigh area. No way to really get rid of that I suppose.

I have the gripster grip pads and love them. If you get them definitly get the snake skin type as they are thicker and will last longer.

Yeah, I already added the Gripster pads in snake skin of course! I had them on my Ducati and loved them. Just surprised that the paint is already worn at 6k miles. The gripster pads cover most of it, just not the very bottom.

I have them where my ankle rubs the frame sometimes. I like them. Its kind of like a fret board on a guitar. Those wear marks mean the bike has been put to use [up] like battle scars you know? :)

i love martins, but this is a buell thread dude.....lol

Dude take it easy. LOL The thread had become idle w/o post May 11th...

Martins are way way way way way way overpriced and the sigma line is nothing better than any other import that holds tune. I got a 1974 Japanese Alvarez and I dont care if it gets scratched or dropped.

Oh and I play Buell melodies on it so as to not get off topic :D
