Another one followed me home last night, my first tuber. A 99 M2 Cyclone, the engine is out and disassembled, the rear cylinder looks like it had something bouncing around in it.

Ouch! The valves and seats look ok, even the cylinder doesn't look too bad.
Have fun with that! I had the chance to ride a very nice M2 and was super impressed. I hope she comes together easy for ya:up:

Popped up Saturday afternoon, I called after about 2 hours of going back and forth if I needed another project, and didn't have the money he was asking. Gave him an offer of the max I could offer and he took it. Picked it up Saturday night

So, after some thought, I will rebuild the motor, I'll replace at least the rear cylinder, head, piston, crank, and rods. Since I'm doing that, I'll do a mild build on it, and powdercoat the engine black. Then swap on the XB forks, headlights, fly screen, and wheels. Wheels will be some Hero Blue wheels I have laying around.

I saw that one too. I'm getting ready to pick up an 1125CR this weekend or I would have jumped on this.

Well played, sir!

I thought pur pony's scoot had spokes? Regardless, he and nicks bikes are by far some of the most top notch craftsmanship I've seen. I'm sure Az is gonna bust out something insane as well. Might scoop me up a tuber when the chevelle is finished.

Ya, I've seen PurPonys and it's ridiculous!

I don't know you were going that far with this one, good for you! It should be badass:up:

The M2 I rode had a stroker kit, 6-speed, and tuned impeccably. I was very impressed.

Hey Wicked, what year Chevelle? (Sorry for the de-rail)

Definitly not going to the extent he did. I don't know is
if anyone could replicate it. Beautiful bike.

72 brother, getting ready for a full color change. New 18" wheels, New front and rear chrome bumpers, 71 grill, New chrome mirror and door handles. Then re do the interior next yr. I'll post pics when it's done......bout a few weeks

Apparently this tach and dash isn't stock but a Buell upgrade part... Still learning this tuber stuff...

Well, it got pushed into the backyard for more room in the garage.... Pulled the engine out of the box and on the stand, also doubles as a table.

Ordered a lower XB triple tree and headlight modules today for the XB fork/wheels swap.

Seriously considering a 1250 kit, just have to decide what I will do about the messed up head, and possibly bent bottom end. Going to take the bottom end to a machine shop to have it checked and go from there. Might just weld up the head and smooth it out with a dremel.

Just have too many projects, and this one I'm just not passionate about. Figured I would see if I could just get rid of it as is.
