A hollow, tinny, tinky sound almost like a Gremlin bell (which I don't have), coming from the right side down near the rider footpeg. Front pulley or idler maybe? Only happens while moving. In or out of gear doesn't matter and doesn't seem to increase or decrease with speed, although I can only hear it around town below say, 50 mph. Anyone else ever hear anything similar to this?

As long as you don't see anything leaking or lack of power I would not worry. I believe my bike has a unique sound similar to your but have not noticed any ill effects. I call the sound added personality lol, I have also learned to live with my tacoma. :D
