Had tea bike dynoed today just to get a baseline.. made 122hp and 68ftlbs.. during the run it said system voltage.. did a few more runs.. seen the voltage spike to 16volts.. so checked the fuses and the battery fuse was fried.. on the at home It did it again.. pulled over and heard some popping so I pulled be battery out and it had a wear spot on the bottom of it and I'm thinking the battery was arching out on the frame.. I'm thinking that's why it was showing high volts.. any help would be good. Thanks

Worn threw on the battery and I can see that the cell was rubbing against the aluminum.. just did a Dyno before all this. This would cause anything would it...

Um .......... well that battery shorting to the frame will cause all kinds of issues ... good idea to replace that for sure AND test the V/R ... just my 0.02 ...

New battery already on the way and when I checked the diodes in the bracket today I was getting a reading for bothering the negative sides.. so I'm guessing it's shot. I'm going to double check it tomorrow.. has anyone had any luck with the ce605sb regulator.. thanks guys
