This may be the end of a long road for me. Iv said for a long time that the 1125cr would be my next bike. But after some long debates with myself, my next bike will be a DRZ400 Sumo. I get in waayyyyy to much trouble on my Buell, and its just time to slow it down. Im still up in the air as to whether im going to sell the Bolt, but I think Ill just pick up the DRZ at the start of next season or late winter and keep the Buell for a while. I dont wanna have any regrets, and if I sell the Buell im sure I will regret it.

But nothing wrong with having two bikes! Specially if I get the dirt DRZ and just set it up for Sumo and I can interchange tires. We have some great dirt riding in my area, and man do I miss riding dirt too.

I guess we'll see.

if you decide to sell the buell make sure u come around every once and awhile you have alot of knowledge that would be usefull to newbies like me.:) o and post up pics of the drz as soon as u get it

There is nothing wrong with having more than one bike. We got a shitload of bikes out in the garage. When winter, cold weather, snow and or rain come we break out the dirtbikes. We have mopeds for just goofing around on. If I were you I would keep the Buell and get myself at least 2 or 3 more bikes and then call it a day......

if you cant afford multiple bikes something dual-sport/sumo'ish will be a blast almost everywhere. only thing you lose is highway/slab comfort but who wants to ride slab anyway.

Meh, to each his own. I agree the CR looks amazing, but I want something more practical. And from what iv heard from every single Sumo owner who went from Street to Sumo said it makes ur liter bikes boring. Ill prolly keep the Bolt for longer trips, and riding two up with my shorty.

And thats prolly the ugliest DRZ Sumo iv ever seen Dave. C'mon put those mad interwebz skills to work and at least get a pic of a sick ass DRZ.

Typeone what is that? a KTM?

EDIT: LOL

Aprilia SXV 550. tiny v-twin with ~70HP at the wheel and weighs ~275lbs. talk about smiles :D

I seen one of those for sale for like 4k here locally. I was really looking at it, but I cant spend the dough right yet.

If you're light, you might want to check the WR250X - almost the same power (and price), but it's a finer thing than the DRZ. It'd be tough going from a Buell to off-the-rack.

For what I want to do, the 690 Duke is what I was considering vs the Buell, but their value doesn't work out for me.
