First time I went down and I am glad I got a jacket and gloves. Saved my ass for sure. I was In the left turn lane, going onto the highway, had a green arrow and mid turn an oncoming car turned right onto the highway in front of me. Maybe going 15-20mph. I tried to brake but it didn't matter, I was on all gravel and I low sided on the shifter side. :( Frame puck took and rear foot peg took all the damage. The shifter lever got a little ground down, but thats about it. No damage to the front rim/forks or the rear swingarm.

I got really lucky. Anything I should worry about?

Shit, I just dumped mine at 2 mph, pretty lightly. Same side/damage, but new turn signal lense is needed. I'm asking the same thing on mine, but it seems to be running just fine.

Congratulations! Dropping your bike always sucks, and I am glad you are ok, but If you are not dropping your bike, you are not trying hard enough and not learning!:D

I'd replace the frame puck. It's probably damaged, it's cheap, and it's kind of important on an XB, what with the fuel being in the frame and all...

I'm sure your bike is just fine, most of us have dropped them in parking lots and such. Usually its just a new lever, or blinker, or some other cheap item that needs replaced. As long as its steering correctly, and running fine, I wouldn't worry to much about it.

Glad you're okay ;)

Figured it was less gruesome than the hand, but you don't want that.

Glad you're ok. They say everyone eventually goes down...you got your turn out of the way and it sounds like everything is fine.

At least you're ok man!!... And as a plus you still have your bike!!... Now with authentic battle damage!!!.... Haha

But seriously... Glad to see you're fine man... My last get off resulted in a DESTROYED bike (with no hope of recovering it) and me laid up on a couch with a few new fake parts to add to my collection... =/...

I was feeling great yesterday after it happened, was walking around fine and all. Woke up today and man just my knee hurt.

It seemed to drive straight when I drove it home, but I am going to double check later today.

I'm glade to see you are ok. Bummer about your bike :( Since its a few small parts ,I'm sure someone got a few parts laying around. I'll check and see what I got, if I find they are yours. You got lucky , first time I went down I shattered my collar bone into five pieces and crushed my ribs. Bike was complete loss. Be safe over holiday weekend boys and girls.
