this is how we threw it down yesterday.

What do you keep the temp at for those beer chickens?
well, yesterday the pit was blazing hot - got up to 500 degrees.

i dunno why though, it usually sits up under 350 degrees.....

we do the beer chickens at 350 degrees - when they're done, we move them to the other side of the pit and then throw the steaks on the right side, just above the wood.

after the steaks are cooked, we usually put them on a big platter and take everything inside.

one of the chickens was so tender that it ripped apart from the beer can when my buddy pulled it off - that's when you KNOW it was done right HAHA !!!!

the second one came off just fine, but it was still real soft.

What exhaust is that on the red and black Lightning???
i don't think it's a Lightning - it's wd40oz's Uly :)

i'll text him and tell him someone is asking about it....

I was just wondering because I have the same exhaust on mine and I couldnt figure out who made it.

I'm so jealous. Most the time I ride alone. Need some fellow Buellers in my area to ride with! Great pics!

well, it wasn't easy for me, but i made it happen.

i started posting on this forum about 4 weeks ago.

i found the Texas Thread and immediately started expediting people from the Houston area lol.

i found 3 folks within a matter of 2 days, sent them a PM, got their number and began texting them.

i've sent a few more PM's, but i haven't recieved responses from a couple of them.

slowly but surely, we'll have a pretty large Houston Bueller Gang.

It was a blast but i can't do that again until it cools off. Almost died from heat-stroke in 4pm traffic on the way home. I was splittin lanes on 288, cutting through neighborhoods, doing anything to keep some air moving.

Signed: Putinanny :(

looks like your buddy with the 1125 uses his under-windscreen storage space for the same thing I do. Hats fit perfectly in there. lol Heck, I could probably put a burrito in there and have it stay... like a dash board

Too bad you guys are all the way in Houston. I'm in Austin and would love to find some locals to ride with as well. Looks like you guys had lots of fun. Congrats.
