Finally after a month being parked in the garage, rode today in Dallas & it is 70 out and the Sun is a shinning away.
A lot of sand on the roads still, but definitely worth riding in with this nice weather!

[mad] calling for 2 to 4 inches of the horseshit that falls from the ski here in the mid west[down]

Tbone, that's the exact same thing for me here in Stillwater. I went home for lunch yesterday, took off the battery tender, and enjoyed the BUELLtiful day. Like you said, sand is everywhere, but getting to ride is worth the risk. I'll be down in Fort Worth next weekend for Cowtown, but I don't think I'll be bringing the Lightning down with me. :/

We've been seeing record heat this year. I haven't really had to put the bike away for more than a couple days at a time and that was more because I didn't want to get caught in rain (Vegas roads have some sort of additive in them to withstand heat, tons of oil settled on the top of the road and it rarely rains so when it gets even slightly wet it's like the Icecapades on the roads here). I've been loving it.
