oberon also makes some nice ones, but i still think the rizomas LOOK cooler :) the crgs have a foldable design tho, so you can flap them in and lessen the chance someones gonna bash into them when its parked i guess

Lohani- I've been looking at those from Cyclegear. How are they workin out for you?

Is there a mod part to cover the hole left when the stock mirrors are removed from a firebolt?[confused][confused][confused]

Pockets..
I won a pair of those on the forum in Dec and they are great!
Either stick them in the bar ends or trim your grips a bit and clamp them on the bars [up]
;)

I've got the SX so what about my handguards? Are the clamps narrow enough to fit between the end of my grip and the guard? Especially a concern with my throttle.

pockets
i ordered the kits from americansportbike.com or whatever that one is, lol
my left size bar end fit fine on the stock grip
but when im putting along on the bike, that one vibrates to uselessness
the one on the throttle side, which i used the ASB.com stuff on, works perfectly.. no vibes at all

the cyclegear mirrors come with the hardware to cram into the bar end and then clamp the mirror around that piece

but you cant use the handguards. thats where the ASB kit comes into play
they have longer screws with some extra lil... bump? i dunno what to call it... and extra lil piece to clamp the handguard clamp onto

the extension screw set does NOT fit the cyclegear barend mirror set of hardware, so you have to order their bar end mirror adapter, and the bar end mirror adapter hardware for handguards

however... (is this getting too long winded and confusing yet?)... if you know more about hardware pieces and such, you can figure out what you need to buy just to adapt the cyclegear ones
similar longer screws and that lil extra bump

ive got a pic of the hardware, so u can see what im talking about by "the lil extra bump out for the handguard"

Lohani- I just read the link that Buddha posted ^. I may try to machine my own here at work (got a lathe). Thanks for the info!

i suddenly revoke my rec of the cyclegear mirrors
i just was out in the garage putting the leftside hardware from ASB on
i thought the plastic push-in barend that comes stock for the handguards was causing the vibration.. WRONG! it was how the mirror is attached to the arm of its clamp
its all loose n crappy!

ill be purchasing my gorgeous rizomas early i think ;) hehe

I love my Oberon's - crazy expensive - but worth it to me. No vibratioan at all solid as hell and killer looks.

I've got a $50 budget and can't stand my factory mirrors. Maybe I'll just hit up eBay.

i think the ebay ones are the cyclegear ones
really... my gimpy left one would be fine if i just welded or somehow more firmly attached it to its arm.. and they are MUCH cheaper than some of these other options
and the right one is 0 vibration, and seems perfect

mebbe i got a bad left one, mebbe they all eventually loosen... i dunno! but ill eventually get rizoma or oberons(i just like the look more than crg)

I'm getting some cheap ones from Amazon. .. I figure if the seem loose I will hit em with some jb weld
