unfortunately I do not have an XB anymore, and am not the most familiar with the 08-10 years.. if you were asking about an 1125 I would be more helpful.

2010 has 2 o2 sensors 2008/2009 has 1.

2010 rear wheel has 3 bearings 2008/2009 has 2.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

I'm trying to figure out whether or not to hold out for a 2010 or if the 08 and 09 is close enough. if the changes are updateable then an older would be fine. So an ecm flash is updatable.

1. Do the new rear wheel bearings last longer than the old ones?

2. Can you upgrade the 08 and 09 to the 3 bearings?

3. Any other differences?

Yes the wheel and bearings can be bought and installed.

EBR sells the wheel bearing/ axle kit and the wheel can be ordered from HD.

kalifornia, the front brake on the XB12X are the same from 08-10 as they didn't get the larger caliper upgrade.

2008 XBs got the redesigned oil pump/cover ( non round ) cover 2009 XBS and XBR got blacked out engine/fork/ frame and 8 piston calipers. 2010 got a O2 sensor on the top header , led taillamp , and arrow shaped turnsignals.

I believe the only differences were the redesigned oil pump/cover and the addition of the XT model. The 2010 got the comfort kit , arrow shaped turn sigs and additional O2 sensor. That's for the Uly's .
