What did Erik Buell also make apart from motorbikes ?

Hello, all,

I am participating in a competition in which the following question is asked: "What did the Buell- founder Erik Buell also create apart from motorbikes ?"

There are 4 alternatives: mountainbikes, cars, inlineskates, or jetskis. I don't have a clue, honestly, and googling didn't help me out neither.

Please also provide any links if you know of them.

I believe Mountain bikes... about 1991.... Schwinn full suspension....

PS... all my Mt. bikes are Klein or Ventana.... Used to do a lot of 24 hour endurance races.... I distinctly remember thinking that a dirt bike would be much faster

I mountain biked seriously for about 12 years. Like motorcycles, mountain biking was a passion. We did it as a family and it was great. I won a few races and my wife was a womens solo champ and my wife and oldest son (Ferris_Bueller) won a 2 person mixxed title. There would usually be about 600 racers along with spectators fans and press. There were tons of bikes of all types. It was like a bike show and race all in one. We did some road racing too but the only one of us that got mine gold (3x champ) was my little guy, now age 15. The boys got older and wanted motors.
