What did you do for your Buell today?

Buellxb Forum

Help Support Buellxb Forum:

Haven't physically done anything to it yet. It's going in for it's 1000 mile servicing soon. Never even had a chance to ride it the last year (Except when the gf and I moved into our new apartment. [mad]

But it is going to get out of the garage this year for sure. Bought a few things for it the other day (Sorry for the iPhone pics):

Sportech "Anthem" tank pad

90 degree valve stems (I don't know if I'm going to pay to have them pop the tires off just put valve stems in when I get it serviced. But, I bought them because a member on my 600RR forum had them discounted, so I thought I'd pick up a set for it when I do need new tires. The black ones are for my 600RR)

Shift Diablo Jacket (this thing looks better in person than it does in pics on the interwebs! I thought I remembered the size of my other Shift Jacket when I ordered it but FAILED. So I'm sending it back to exhange for an XL). If you like Shift gear and can find some in your size you should snag it while you can. They are no longer in business! I got this one from SportbikeTrackGear.com for $180.

I don't know if you guys buy anything from STG.com (They have very limited Buell stuff), but check them out for tires! They had a deal going for Dunlop Q2s for $218 for a set for a while! The day I ordered I waited too long and they bumped the price up to $246 for the set. I got a double bubble Zero Gravity windscreen for the RR, the set of tires for the RR, and the Shift Jacket for $506.88. If you order from them, give them a call and use Ext. 210 for Jason. He hooks us up on 600rr.net a lot!

And lastly, my stash I've been building up the last few weeks for both the bikes. :D

Looks like Christmas.

Belated birthday gifts to myself actually! :) I wanted that jacket last year and couldn't afford it and I didn't ride either of my bikes since I put them away winter of 2010. The Honda needs new tires so I just got some other little things that I found/wanted and didn't break the bank. I'm making sure I treat myself a little this year and get them out of the garage and breathe a little!

Bought a Micron exhaust for the XB late last year too. I hope I can get that put on and running right this season as well!! :D

got set of new front wheel bearings and installed them...
it was nescessary because the originals are very rusty and one was making some noise.. [up]

Changed out my spark plugs with some NGK2316s. It had the original harley plugs in it, which didn't look bad to me. You guys probably no more than I do about this stuff , so, what do you think?

Plugs look good to me.

Speaking of wives, mine took the forks in to get rebuilt. They originally quoted me $150, but got a call back a few hours ago and they only want 100 bucks :D[up]

Worked on my bike to fix the weep hole prob, 1125R, got that done, 3hrs later, now its leakin out the clutch bleeder valve, even after tighting it to 44in/lbs. wtf.[down] I would really like to get my hands on a new clutch cover.

I'm really enjoying the warmer weather the lower USA 48 has been getting. 3rd day in a row this week of 80 degrees.
Like always I ride, wipe her down and repeat [up]
She loves me and I love her :D

Definitely agree with the warm weather. Oklahoma is great this time of year. As long as you don't wind up being chased by tornados. Luck for me I can now outrun them on the 12.
