I burnt out my high beam flash switch trying to wire a relay into my HIDs, not really sure where I went wrong. Looking for replacement left hand controls for cheap if anyone has a spare.

Bought some lumo orange off-cut perspex last week for about ZAR6.00 (about US80cents) and used a CD transfer label as template to make one of those orange headlight covers for traffic riding.

Images aren't great, but here you go:

10mins worth of work. Still have to curve it to the lens shape and plan to fix it small, round self-adhesive velcro tabs for easy removal.

Good idea. I did mine a few years back using Stage lighting gel sheets. I love the euro look it seems to give. I like the orange color too. I used yellow.

Plug change to NGK Iridiums.

10mins: Removal and install new plugs
45mins: Trying to get the MF'ing wires to 'snap' onto the plug ends [mad][mad][mad]

Changed the handlebar grips to Traction Grips. Had to cut the ends off for the hand covers to clip (plus future bar-end mirror add-on). Didn't really need grip glue, either. Stock grips slid off without much trouble at all!

Oil Change today. Switched to Mobil-1 from HD. Also reworked the previous owners breather reroute, new breather, hoses, and included a catch can. And if that wasn't enough I've started the wiring for my iron man arc core in the timing cover.

Painted my hero blue plastics black because I was bored and tired of the blue after 3 1/2 years. Start the bashing!

well its wasnt today, but sunday me and the wife rode 146mi over to bryon dragway for the summer thunder event. we watched the 60s 70s cars and the nitro outlaws and the wize guyz out of chi-town, and we took along about 8 harleys with us.

Took off the Speed Metal bar end mirrors,I had issues with the mirror staying in place. Put on CRG Arrow mirrors (love them)and a catch can W/ filter from American Torque. Now I think I have a voltage regulator issue!
