Well, I got a Race ECM and Special OPS pipe for the bike, now the question is the pipe will not be in untill the beginning of next week, but I have the race ecm already on hand, the question is would it be better to wait until I put on the pipe before putting on the ecm, and can I go ahead and put the ecm on now and then the pipe later, and if I put the ecm on now will I have to do another TPS reset when I put on the pipe.

If it were me I'd wait. Put in a K&N and open airbox too when you put in the ecm and pipe. The race ecm has higher fuel values to work with free-er flowing exhaust and intake. If you install it alone you will be running too rich.

Forgot to mention already have done re-rout, and Buell Race filter, not K&N, but the one from Buell, haven't open'd up the air box yet due to not wanting to lean it out, but have marked it w/ paint marker so alls I have to due is get the dremel out

once you get the pipe, get the dremel and install the race ecm.

reset tps, learn in and ride.

So will any harm come from going ahead and doing everything except the pipe, so that the bike is ready for the pipe when it gets here, or will I need to to do another TPS reset when I put on the pipe, the only reason I ask is it's quite a ride to take the bike in and get reset done

Ya, ud have to do another TPS reset after the pipe. What year is your bike? If its '08 and up u can reset the tps yourself.

bike will run to rich since the used a/f mixture can't exit the cylinder fast enough.
