I like to mix it up. The music just occupies my mind when I'm riding or I'd be bored as shyt. Has no effect on my speed or aggressiveness.

I listen to the cars around me and my own heartbeat.

I get the hyperwillies when I can't hear on the bike.

Classical jazz keep me driving slower in my cages, so maybe I'll try it out some time on the XB.

Death metal makes me drive the tires off, and get into spectacular trouble. I promised my five foot Nuclear Powered Wife Unit that I'd curb that ****.

SD or
Rise Against are nice.

I was going to start a music thread, but i figured that a necro-post was better than cluttering with another thread! If i turning wrenches in the garage, i like to jam out to stoner rock, like Kyuss, Fu-Manchu, Clutch, Queens of the Stoneage, etc. I left my phone at my harley dealer last summer (50miles away) and plugged in some metallica, got there in 20mins (including stop and go) and i love me some meshuggah or tool when i'm riding, but i end up going way the hell too fast. My favorite ride i think i ever went on was when i put some acid jazz together though, like some Zero7, Portishead, and even some calmer NIN and literally left around midnight after getting in a huge fight with my now ex, got lost on purpose, and ran about 3 tanks of gas through in a single night just riding all over, not giving a f*ck. I'll tell you though, nothing beats summer night rides like loading in "Gut the van Disk 1" by Dispatch, and cruising the city lights of chicago.

Barry Manilow, Barbara Streisand, Neil Diamond, GWAR, REO Speedwagon.... I just made that up, I don't listen to music on the bike.... But, I am looking into Bluetooth so I can listen to Howard Stern.
