what is the plastic line with the rear brake line for?

i just did the rear brembo mod last night and the plastic line that runs with the brake hose fell on the floor,it looks like a breather tube or drain.
i looked everywher on the bike that it would connect to but could not figure it out,nothing in the maual either.i figure its a drain tube from the battery compartment..am i correct?

the only one i can think of is the fuel vent.runs behind the left rear set.

Battery is a sealed unit.fuel tank vent up the left side over the top of air box.

thanks ,not either of those ,ill have to wait until i see another bike or pull the tail.
