Ok so I will soon be Back In the US in less than a month and me and my Wife will be moving into an appartment for 9 months which means My will not have a garage for my bikes to live in like I am used too so I am looking to invest in a cover to protect my bike(s) from the weather. What Covers do you guys recomend? I am looking for something that will not scratch my plastics and will be water proof as well.

www.cycleshell.com makes the best thing, I think, that one can get for your situation. I'm in a similar situation and it's great.

I have been thinking about the cycleshell but I was trying to find something a bit less expensive.

Now this bbq cover idea will it even fit?

the locking thing does not bother me that much though it would be a nice feature.

with our short wheel bases it fits very well, and if you dont have stock mirrors on your ride, the cover goes to the ground and it does look like a BBQ sitting there...
:)

My bike is stored inside 24/7, but I did buy a Nelson Rigg's biker cover for when traveling. Vented for not condensation.

But iv always wanted one of the Buell Firebolt covers, it only hugs the top of ur bike and looks AWESOME! But alas I cannot find them anywhere anymore.

Meh.

I am really thinking about this one since it has a soft lining inside it and a water proof outside. Any one use these before? it is the Oxford Stormex Ultimate Motorcycle Cover.

I'm gunna be in the same situation later this summer. Mb out of a garage for a year.. So I'm looking closely at which covers seem to work, havent found one a I like at all yet.

I know I have been searching for several weeks now and so fat the one I just posted up earlier seems to be the best one I can find that meets my criteria. I want one that will not scratch my plastics since I just put a lot of money into changing all of them and would like to keep them looking nice. But I also want it to keep out the rain and sun from messing stuff up as well.
