I'm on the search for new grips again. I wasn't to happy with the stock ones so they were replaced with a pair of pro-grip's that worked well. They got old so I bought a pair of rental cuz I've used them on my dirtbike for years and they were just not what I wanted. I really want a fatter grip similar to the old Buell traction grips. Does anyone out there run a thick grip??

I run the Ourys from the local motocross store that cost $13.00 a pair. They're really comfy and my hands don't cramp like with the stock grips it used to have. My old bike had the Buell traction grips and they were great but I refuse to pay what they go for now, if you can even find them.

Nice! I know i wish i could find a pair or 2 of the buell traction's just trying to find something similar out there is hard.

I had the traction grips on mine, much better than stock. I'm sure there are ones just as good if not better.

I buy the cheapo thick foam ones and slip them over the stock grips. Makes for a comfy grip and larger diameter which is easier on my hands. I have issues with my left hand from a surgery I had and I don't have a lot of strength so being the clutch side hand, pulling the clutch in a lot wears my hand out fast. The larger diameter grip helps fight that.

I use grab-on Johar foam grips. Approx $11.00 is what I paid. They wear out faster but for my boney hands they are pure joy.
