What kind Of Helment do you wear?

i wear an arai when out riding twisties or longer rides. if i am riding round the city i more often wear my open face. much better viewing and hearing of my surroundings and not as hot.

besides that i also get to see my big smiling grin on windows. damn love riding my oompah!

I wear an Outlaw carbon fiber half helmet it's advertised as ''the thinnest and lightest DOT approved helmet'', I do like it but I'm really considering a full face the more i ride.

well bought me a little novelty helment today, only going to use it for quick runs to town and get food and what not.

Old helmet is a KBC VR-2, and I'm getting my Caberg Ego in the mail in the next couple weeks. Had to order from UK.

I bought my buell last year in july,. I had seen it on Craigslist about two hours from where I live. It was on a Sunday so I couldn't find anywhere open that sold helmets so I bought a pair of safety glasses with a strap at Walmart and went to go buy this bike. On the two hour drive home another guy on a crotchrocket got next to me and flagged me over. After some talking he had me follow him to his house not far away and gave me a brand new helmet, nothing fancy but it is a full face. I offered to pay and he declined. So I still use it until I find another I like. Its called a FUEL helmet. Very cheap helmet but does the job.

Good story there, Kab, I wear a Bell Revolver now, I always get modular, good protection and can open it up for the low speed stuff, I'm kinda a cheap a$$ on helmets, as long as they have certs, I figger it's only good for 1 down anyway

Scorpion EXO900 for commuting and General riding. Shoei RF1000 for "spirited riding" and a KBC Airborne II the rest of the time.

I've crash tested two modular helmets and GF has crash tested one, I'm ok with them.
