in minnesota you have to take the class to get the permit....i have been meaning to get the info on it for a while....and take the class. we just passed concealed carry in wi, and i am not sure if there will be reciprication on the licenses between the two states.

oh, and the kimbers rock. i have heard all the three inch 1911's are known to be finicky, but they sure do make some nice ones. i have been really tempted with buying a 3 inch anyway, just because i think so highly of kimber.

Maron, very heavily advise against carrying a 92FS. Being doublestacked, the grip is to fat for true concealed carry. Open carry it's alright but I'd suggest going smaller.

keltec PF-9
while it is not an enjoyable gun to shoot, it is so forgetable when CC'd.

full frame 1911's are great handguns, but every gun serves a purpose. the PF-9's is to be carried.

i just bought a lc9 that i carry in my pocket & i have a sig 229 in 40s&w that i open carry. my sig is one of the best, if not the best, pistol i have ever used. awesome!!!

True, but I'm only planning to keep it in my vehicle when going around town. I'm still up in the air but also thinking of a Ruger P95 if I do decide to actually carry.

i carry a H&K P30 in a desantis speed scabbard. Its a double stack that holds 13rds of .40 and i have no problem concealing it.

I have my wife to keep me out of trouble.

Takes unlimited rounds, is self cleaning and no need to conceal her...

Where...Inner waist, small of back, shoulder under jacket? Just curious as I have a Walther P99 and can't find a comf. spot.

just behind hip with that desantis speed scabbard using the fbi cant. the fbi cant keeps it close to the body. a button down will conceal it nicely. ive also tried an in the waistband holster with just a t shirt over it but i need a size bigger pant to do that. i normally wear a 30x34 but if i do inside the waist i need a 32 waist.

I live in va so everyone is carrying open or concealed. I've got a glock 19 Gen 4 with a clipdraw and also a glock 26 Gen4 LE compact with a clipdraw. The clipdraw is so sexy. With the 26 even my wife doesn't know I'm carrying sometimes.

just a fair warning: i've had the clipdraw come flying off after putting a few magazines downrange.

i didn't like it that much to begin with, so i never put it back on.

James Bond all the way. Walther PPK/S .380 ACP. Dependable as an anvil, compact and reasonably accurate. Concealed carry is not for stopping a bear attack or being a hero....it is the last resort in a bad situation with no other options. Whatever you carry spend some time at the range and become proficient with drawing, aiming and firing. Then practice regularly, carrying a weapon is not to be taken lightly.
Almost a rant!

Colt New Agent comact .45 with crimson trace grips. Light weight and made for concealed carry, no sights to ge hung up when drawing.
