Whats the Deal on Parts?

With Buell down what are we looking at in the way of getting parts I have two orders in one 3 weeks old and one put in today. The parts guy that always cc up front first said let me put in the order first see if it comes in then you can pay. I said WHAT?

THey are supposed to still make the replacement parts for 7 years, but we will see how much support we get with that.

The old buell dealer who had just gotten out before the announcement and the current buell dealer around the capital region of new york told me that parts will go obsolete when they run out. They told me they are required to service them for 7-10 years still though. So Im alittle confused too. I just ordered a bunch of stuff too, just to make sure I get it. Hopefully they will come in. The guy said it might be a year or 2 before they start to obsolete. I don't know how true this is though. Anyone else got any input?

I've got an order in for a couple weeks now, too.

My guess is they're doing a re-org/re-lo of the parts handling. Probably HD parts group taking it over. Shutdown, take stock. Not concerned, yet.
