Whats this blast worth?

Blast are relatively cheap bikes. The going rate for them in my neck of the woods is about $1200-$2000 max (I have seen some go for $400)
But since you can not come up with a trade. You should wait a week or two and then flash some cash.
Money always talks.
Oh and that bike would fall in the $1400-$1500 zone

1,500 max, based on what I have seen for sale around me. In wisconsin you can find one much newer with less miles for less than 2200. However it would be bone stock. It's all what you are looking for.

Don't....^^^^^^
If you don't have the cash in your hand and the basic knowage of the market value you might not want to waste the guys time.

Trust me the guy has had to deal with cl spammers and low ball offers from other people. So he knows what the market

He traded the bike for a crappy honda he had that didnt run. He has had it for two months and he has rode it in his driveway. He also does not have his motorcycle endorsement or permit. He's not into bikes and is not aware of the value.

And............ Maybe you should read my posts again... I'll lay it out for you.

Honestly, he has probably had to deal with all kinds off low-ballers and BS like squid said. Constant badgering might just piss him off. Price is always relative because no matter what anyone says nothing is worth more than what some one is willing to pay. However, he may just be smart and wait to try and sell it in the spring. Bikes always sell faster and for higher prices in the spring when you live in the north. Plus if he doesn't need the money he can sit on it.

From a guy that's put a decent amount of cash into his Blast, and knows these bikes inside out, backward and upside down blindfolded...listen to these other guys. They're pretty on the mark with the price on that bike ... and bartering technique.

I wouldn't pay more than $1500 for it. If he doesn't accept the offer, come back a week later with $1400. Then $1300...until he gets the point.

Hell, buy a non-running Honda for $250 and offer him that and $1000.

Easy 2000 dollar bike - upgrades done and nicely modified for performance - some carb tweeking could give it even more, and thats cheap except for study time.- nicely executed Blast if in good running order.
